He got so blown away by this kind of pizza that he dedicated lots of his after work hours to perfecting the iconic crispy and fluffy square shaped San Francisco style sourdough pizza! Roy even went so far as to procure a 100 year old strain of sourdough starter originating from a San Francisco bakery, which he thinks gives the pizza an unmatched robust and sublime flavor!
