On December 19th, 1959, Robert & Jennie Smilanich opened Bimbo’s Pizza at its current location. Upon their retirement, operations were taken over by their son, Ron, and his wife Sue. Ron & Sue’s son, Matt, and his wife are now 3rd generation owners, selling the same, original recipe created in 1959.
